There are many misconceptions and misunderstandings about this industry, because of this we make every possible effort to get people to read this page.  The "header" of our website is very valuable real estate.  Most companies would reserve the header space for promoting their products and services.  Although, we have used some of the space to market our products and services, we have also dedicated a portion of this space to get people to read our "Important!" page.  Our goal with this page is not to drive away business. What we want to do is attract the right kind of business, the right kind of people and the right kind of opportunities.  Reading and understanding the following information will help you better understand the products and services we offer. 

There are a few things that need to be understood before you choose to work with us.  Understanding the information on this page will prevent any misunderstandings about who we are and what we do.  There are many rumors and misconceptions about this industry.  We hope that many of these rumors will be cleared up after reading this page.


1.   We are not a law firm or attorneys.
2.   We are not a bank.
3.   We are not a CPA firm.
4.   We are not bookkeepers.
5.   We are not a "credit repair" company.
6.   We are not a lender.
7.   We are not tax advisors.
8.   We are not an investment company.
9.   We do not sell "cash lines of credit".
10. We do not sell entities with credit already attached to them.
11. We do not offer payday loans, title loans or check cashing services.
12. We do not work for any credit reporting company.
13. We do not have a secret "inside source" at any bank or lending institution.
14. We are not officially affiliated with any bank.
15. We have a zero tolerance policy for lies, deception and fraud.
16. We have never and will never pre-approve our clients for a cash line of credit.
17. We have never and will never guarantee the approval of a cash line of credit.
18. We have never and will never sell cash lines of credit.

First, beware of companies who promise to produce a line of credit for you in exchange for a fee. In our experience most of these companies cannot provide results. We get phone calls on a daily basis from people who have fallen vicitm to con artists who claim to have the ability to approve you for a line of credit if you pay them up front fees. As a consulting company our fees are to pay for our time and hard costs involved with your file. The Kensington Group is not a bank, not a lender and
does not give any form of pre-approval for a line of credit in any way shape or form. It is crucial that our clients understand that we will try to find the best banking programs for them, but we make no representation as to the banking programs available.

No Guarantees have been made or ever will be made  regarding funding. The Kensington Group, LLC is not guaranteeing that a line of credit will be obtained as this is out of their control, but they will make their best reasonable effort to help the client obtain funding.

The Kensington Group 
is not officially affiliated with any banks or lenders.  Many companies in this industry would lead you to believe that they have an "inside source".  This is simply untrue.   However, The Kensington Group does use local, national and regional banks and lenders as a source to submit bank applications to.

There are several companies out there who sell products very similar to ours. When talking with them the following advice may be useful.

   1. If you have questions, review all contracts / applications with your attorney.
   2. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
   3. Avoid any company who appears to be 'acting' like a bank, when you know they aren't.
   4. Avoid any company who gives legal advice, and is not a law firm.
   5. Avoid any company who claims to "guarantee"
that you will get a line of credit.
   6. Avoid any company who will not back up what they say on the phone by what they say in their contracts.
   7. Make sure the company you are working with has a valid phone number and a physical address, which you                  can verify. A legit company has more than just a PO Box.
   8. If they are hard to get a hold of when you are ready to buy, imagine how hard it will be to get a hold of them                 once they have your money.
   9. Avoid any company who suggests that you falsify or create tax documents, bank statements or other financial               documents.
  10. Avoid any company who is not 100% honest with you. If things aren't adding up, you should look elsewhere.
  11. Remember, business credit is a process.
  12. Be careful with any line of credit program that involves hedge funds, bonds or stocks.
  13. Avoid programs that require you to lease an LLC to qualify for a line of credit.
  14. Avoid any line of credit program that appears to be complex and hard to follow. If they have you running                     through a maze to qualify for a line of credit, it's probably a scam.

We are very up front about the fact that we do not guarantee
that our clients will get a line of credit. We aren't a bank, so we simply cannot guarantee things like this.  No one other than a bank can make guarantees about funding.  Our applications and agreements state this and so does our website, blog, videos, articles and emails.. We are also very open about the fact that we are not a bank nor are we bankers. Our clients hire us to work in the capacity of a consultant. What we tell you on the telephone or in email is the same information that you will find in our applications and agreements. We are very open about that fact that we are not Attorneys or CPA's and we will not give you legal and tax advice.

Our bank network consists of banks that we work with and submit applications to. We do not have an official tie to any bank or lending institution, nor do we believe any consulting company like ours has any such tie. We do not use any bank name or logo on any of our literature, this is because there is no official tie. We work hard at fortifying strong relationships with the banks we have contact with by submitting qualified clients to them on a regular basis.



What we need of you:
1.  Be honest and up front about who you are and where you are at.
2.  Be realistic about your goals and expectations.
3.  Be respectful and courteous to our staff, bank contacts and vendors.

What we promise to do:
1.  We promise to work as quickly as we possibly can on your file.
2.  We promise to follow through with commitments.
3.  We promise to fulfill our contractual obligations.
4.  We promise to be consistent with the information that is on our:
      a. Advertisements
      b. Sales process
      c. Website
      d. Blog
      e. Applications, Agreements and Contracts
5.  We promise to be 100% honest with you at all times.

We will work with any client, for any amount of time, to help them achieve their goals as long as they are 1) respectful 2) honest 3) understanding of the fact that we want them to succeed and we need them to follow through with their commitments 4) realistic about their expectations.  

We try to encourage every client to have both feet on the ground when they set their expectations.  We would have helped this client every step of the way.  We are here to help our clients succeed.  If they don't succeed, then we aren't going to get their referrals. - that isn't how we like to do business!


-When applying for a cash line of credit there are three possible outcomes:

1.      Full Approval:  If Client is approved for the full amount of credit that they desire, it is important that the Client is a good steward with the credit.  It is important that the Client is honest with the credit and uses the credit per the terms set forth by the lending institution.

2.      Partial Approval:  If Client is only partially approved for the amount of credit that they desire it is important that the Client uses the credit wisely and honestly.  It is important that the Client uses the credit per the terms set forth by the lending institution.  If not otherwise prohibited, Client can reapply with the lending institution or seek funding with additional lending institutions.  Client does not hold The Kensington Group, LLC responsible for partial approval.  The Kensington Group, LLC will consult the Client and advise them on ways that they can fix the issues as outlined by the lending institution.

3.      Denial:  If Client is completely denied for a line of credit it is important that Client works to fix the problems outlined by the lending institution.  The Kensington Group, LLC will consult the Client and advise them on ways that they can fix the issues as outlined by the lending institution.  Client does not hold The Kensington Group, LLC responsible for line of credit denial.


Our Position: We are a consulting and marketing company.  Many of our products are unique, out of the box and unconventional.  We thrive on offering these unique and powerful products to our clients.  We will no participate in anything that is illegal, dishonest or under-handed.  If there is anything that is in the “gray area” – we want nothing to do with it.  Our freedom is more important than the few bucks we would make by doing something shady.  

Personal Responsibility: Many of our products are unique and unconventional.  We have had great success for many years and we hope to continue to enjoy success for many years to come.  Anytime that you engage in unconventional methods you have to realize the risks in doing so.  In accepting these risks it is important that you do what it takes to help us make everything work for you.  “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink”.  

Identity Theft: Although we do occasionally perform “identity checks” and “background checks” on our clients, it is impossible for us to investigate every single person we work with.  We don’t have the time, nor is it our responsibility to do so.  However, if we find that you are participating in identity theft we will immediately stop working with you and we WILL report you to the FBI, Local Police and the Credit Reporting Agencies.  We have zero tolerance for identity theft, so don’t do it.  CPN Numbers have recently become very popular.  We are not comfortable with them, nor have we found a way to properly screen them.  Because of this, we do not use them nor will we work with them.

Chargebacks: We believe that most people are good.  The majority of people are honest and law abiding citizens. Unfortunately, there are a select few who refuse to play by the rules.  These people are criminals who live by no morals or ethics what so ever.

There have been situations in the past where clients have paid us via bank transfer, check or credit card and once they received the product(s) which they purchased they canceled the transaction via charge back or fraud complaint with their bank.  This is blatant and absolute thievery.  There is no excuse for behavior like this.  Unwarranted charge-backs are very costly to our reputation with our vendors.  Filing an unwarranted chargeback or fraud complaint is worse like having someone break into your home and steal $xx,xxx worth of your belongings.  We have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior.  We WILL pursue anyone who steals from us.  We will do whatever it takes to prosecute those who steal from us. We consider it our moral obligation to bring thieves to justice before they find any new victims.This page contains some bold statements and outlines many of the negative situations that we have come across.  We love this industry and we value the clients whom we have met throughout the years.  We want to maintain the integrity of this industry because there are many good and honest companies out there.  If you choose to work with us, or one of our honest 'competitors' we wish you the best of luck and a very successful future.

Cash Credit Commitment

We commit to helping our clients establish cash line of credit if they follow our advice and counsel. 

Although we cannot guarantee the actions of any bank or lending institution, we will commit to our ability to advise and consult.  We do not and will not pre-approve clients for a cash line of credit, nor is our "Cash Line of Credit Commitment" a pre-approval in any way shape or form. 

We cannot guarantee the time frame in which clients may be approved for line of credit, but we can commit our ability to help the clients make the appropriate decisions to help their business potentially qualify for a line of credit.  As always, our commitment is completely void if the client does not follow our advice and counsel.  Our Commitment is void if we find that the client has lied, deceived or otherwise mislead us or any of our contacts.
